Abril Anaya Carmona is an immigrant from Mexico with a passion for defending the rights of those in her community. Abril is a criminal defense attorney. She is fluent in English and Spanish and has a good grasp with French. Abril enjoys being in the courtroom and passionately defending clients through all means possible. As a law student, she was selected to participate in the immigration law clinic while also completing an internship with Bartlett & French, a criminal defense law firm. During her time in the clinic and her internship, Abril had hands-on experience drafting pleadings, meeting with clients, and appearing in court hearings. Abril understands that going through the criminal justice system can be daunting and intimidating. She works to ensure her clients understand what will happen during the time the case is in her for her clients to feel heard and satisfied with the conclusion of their case.

Educational Background

Abril received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law this past May 2022.
